A Little Bit About Addison
Passion. Persistence. Perseverance.
"Grapes"? "Probably because of her hair." Nope "Oh, then she must really love grapes." Just a little bit, nothing extreme. My nickname comes from toddler me not understanding that my middle name was Grayce. So I became Addison Grapes.

I currently play travel ball withGenuWin Reign 16u SE. I play shortstop but I am willing to play outfield, second base, and third base. Wherever I am needed to best help my team - that is where you will find me.

In my freshman year, I played basketball and softball for SEHS. Softball found me playing for both JV1 and JV2. I played shortstop, second base, outfield, and catcher. All this is in pursuit of the goal: to compete at the top level as a collegiate Softball Player.

I am finishing my junior year at South Elgin High School where I am enrolled in the BEACON Academy. BEACON stands for Broadcast Engineering and Communication Networks & Digital Media. I would love to have a job in this field.

First Place Winner
I participated in a national competition called Student Television Network (STN) in Long Beach, California, along with two of my classmates. Our task was to create a script using 6 news stories, film, and submit our project, all within a time span of 3 hours. Although the experience was quite stressful, it was also a lot of fun working with my team. In the end, our hard work paid off and we emerged victorious, placing first among over 3000 other students who were also competing.
